BBEx 2008 was officially opened by Jim Stewart, Chief Executive of Poole Harbour commissioners.

BBEx, The Boating Business Exhibition is one the UK's  top events for the UK marine leisure trade.  BBEx 2008 was held in association with the British Marine Federation and the Marine Trades Association.

The UK leisure marine business is the second largest in Europe. It is an industry that sells more than £1.98 billion worth of boats, equipment and services each year. For it to thrive and develop, there is a need for a business-oriented meeting place where professionals can get together to find solutions to problems through innovation and expertise. BBEx provides that unique opportunity for suppliers and manufacturers to meet the right people and do better business!
