The 2008 Exhibitor Party will take place after the show closes on Wednesday 13th February. It will be held upstairs in the Bayview Suites at the Bournemouth International Centre.

There are six awards presented at the exhibitor party:

Retailer of the Year
Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Young Business Person of the Year
The Innovations Award
Lifetime Achievement Award
Best Website Award

Retailer of the Year Award, seeks to highlight retail outlets that have made the most progress over the past year in areas such as customer service, business efficiency and outright sales increase, either through the bricks and mortar outlet, or via the Internet. In 2007 the award was presented to Norfolk Marine of Wroxham.

The following awards seek to identify the next generation of business people - both are targeted at those who are aged 40 or under:

The Young Entrepreneur of the Year highlights those outstanding individuals – or partners - who turn up with a new business idea, an innovative product or service, or an innovative route to market. In 2007, this award was won by Neil Chapman of Boatshed.com.

The Young Business Person of the Year is targeted at those who are employed, rather than running their own companies. Again, the idea is to recognise people who have made the biggest impact in their company in terms of moving the company on with new business ideas or services, innovative products, or those who have simply made a huge difference to a business by force of their own personality. In 2007 the award was presented to Zeb Elliot of Halyard (M& I) Ltd.

The Innovations Award is presented to the most ingenious, innovative or technologically advanced product displayed in the Innovations Showcase. In 2007 the award was presented to C-Quip for the 'Super Soaker' - a device used for diagnosing and solving the problem of water in fuel tanks.

The Lifetime Achievement Award recogising a lifetime of commitment to the leisure marine industry.

The Best Website Award is sponsored by Boats.com and will be presented to the company with the most impressive website.
