  • If the market won't come to BBEx, we'll take BBEx to the market

    BBEx: The future of BBEx was decided at a meeting at Mercator Media last Friday 20 June. BBEx is going to adapt to move with the times and match the current market conditions.
    'From the various discussions we've had with the industry and with the target audience, it became obvious the manufacturers and importers wanted us to keep BBEx,' said Mercator Media managing director Andrew Webster. 'But the target audience is no longer interested in attending BBEx.'

    The promised meeting for everyone concerned with the Boating Business Exhibition (BBEx) is set for Friday April 4. This is a meeting for exhibitors and visitors alike - and anyone with an opinion on the future of the show.

    The promotion campaign to get visitors into the Boating Business Exhibition (BBEx) is building nicely, with BBEx e-mail shots to the entire 6,000 database already having been sent out.

    BBEx 2008: Next year's BBEx runs at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) on Wednesday February 13 and Thursday February 14, 2008 – and this will be our third BBEx.

    The 2008 Exhibitor Party will take place after the show closes on the evening of Wednesday 13 February. This year we are holding it in the Bourne Lounge which is located upstairs in the BIC. The party is free for exhibitors and their guests and a great opportunity to wind down and socialise after a hard day’s trading. 

  • Two halls nearly sold out!

    Yes, only nine months into the ‘BBEx year’, the Solent and Windsor Halls are already nearly sold out. Some exhibitors are taking larger sites, others are holding onto their prime position stands. But more newcomers are signing up every week.
